Growing up on Cape Cod as a child, it wasn’t until she returned after graduating from college that Jordan really discovered music. She began playing open mics in 2011, was instantly recognized for her raw talent and was offered her first gig later that year. Influenced by artists like Eva Cassidy, Bob Dylan, Laura Marling and Norah Jones "Featherbed Lane" showcases Jordan's soulful voice and sensitive song-writing style. A fusion of traditional folk and contemporary soul classify this new album as a big step in Jordan's development as an artist and a teaser for what's to come. In January 2014, Jordan landed an invitation to perform at Boston Mayor Walsh’s Inaugural Gala helping to catalyze her breakout year as a young artist. A nomination for Limelight Music Awards' 2016 Female Vocalist of the Year, a grand prize in the Eventide regional songwriting competition and the anticipation of "Featherbed Lane" have led to a recent spike in local publicity and an audience waiting for her to take off.
