Q: The ticket line phone message is long and confusing - what does my message need to include?
A: Please include the name and date of the show, as well as the show time if there is more than one performance that evening. Please leave a valid credit card number with expiration date - your tickets will be charged to this card. We also need your name, phone number, number of tickets, and whether you would like Dinner Seating or General Admission. If you do not specify Dinner, your tickets will be General Admission. Please mention if you are a member, and include your member number.

Q: What shows do I need to pay in advance for?
As of January 1st, 2005, Club Passim no longer accepts unpaid reservations. All tickets must be paid for in advance. You may also try your luck at the door the night of the show but please note that many of our shows sell-out in advance.

Q: Are tickets refundable?
A: No, tickets are NOT refundable.

Q: What the heck is "Dinner Seating?"
A: Dinner seats are table seats at which we ask a $5 food purchase minimum per person. These seats are held for you under your name. Dinner table reservations may be lost if you come late, but you are guaranteed general admission seats for all tickets purchased in advance.

Q: What about "General Admission?"
A: If you do not request Dinner, your tickets will be General Admission. There is a row of G.A. seats lining the right side of the club, as well as a few rows set up in the back. These seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can still eat dinner from these seats despite not having a table; the wait staff serves your food on trays.

Q: What time should I come to the show?
A: Doors generally open an hour and a half before the show. Should there be two performances, usually one at 7 pm and one at 10 pm, doors will open for the second show around 9:15 or 9:30 depending on the artist's set length. You do not need to tell us what time your party will arrive; we open the doors 90 minutes prior to show time, and welcome you anytime thereafter. You can eat before the show or during the show.

Q: Do you mail tickets?
A: No - since we have live music seven nights a week, we do not have paper tickets at the club. If you purchase online, you can print out your own tickets. If you purchase tickets via phone, we add you into our computer database and print out a list for each show. Simply give your name at the door the night of the show.

Q: A show appears to be sold out on the website, yet when I call the ticket line, it says there are still tickets available. What does that mean?
A: We only sell certain blocks of seats online. You may check back in a day or two to see if we have made additional tickets available online, or purchase tickets through the ticket line itself.

Q: How close to the show can I purchase tickets online?
A: Tickets are available online until the day before the show. If you are interested in purchasing tickets the day of the show, call the ticket line. The message will reflect whether the show is sold out. Please leave your message before 3 pm - tickets purchased after 3 PM the day of the show will not be checked or charged.

Q: I have already purchased tickets online, but now I need more. I want to make sure myself and all of my guests are seated together; what do I do?
A: Simply purchase additional tickets online under the same name and we will see that the reservations are combined in our database.

Q: My friends have already purchased tickets for a show; how can I be seated with them?
A: You can get tickets through the ticket line and leave the name of the party you'd like to be seated with in your message. You can also purchase tickets online, and note the name of the party you'd like to be seated with in the "Special Instructions" field. Please make sure that both reservations are for dinner seats, as we do not assign general admission seating.

Q: I left a message on the ticket line but no one called to confirm my tickets - is everything OK?
A: Please assume that your purchase is fine unless we call you to say otherwise. We have live music at our club seven nights a week and cannot call to confirm. Please consider using our online ticketing system - it provides a confirmation number as well as printable tickets.
